Craig Dubitsky, the founder of oral care brand Hello and lip balm brand Eos, has shared five tips for connecting with consumers during the first-ever Trax Disrupters event. Dubitsky, who dislikes the term “disrupter,” says delighting, not disrupting, should be the goal of brands. He suggested focusing on creating better, more eco-friendly, more functional, prettier, and more affordable products. Dubitsky said awareness, authenticity, and empathy are key to connecting with consumers, along with being committed to a cause, believing in human values, and paying attention to customers’ changing needs. SINGAPORE and SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – August 24, 2022 – Trax, a leading global provider of computer vision solutions and analytics for retail, today announced the appointment of Regi Vengalil as its Chief Financial Officer.   Prior to Trax, Vengalil served as CFO of Metromile, Inc., a publicly traded auto insurance technology company, where he was responsible for financial management, investor relations, and corporate development. He helped lead the process to sell Metromile which resulted in its eventual acquisition by Lemonade.  “Regi has a history of successfully leading technology companies at pivotal moments along their growth trajectory,” said Justin Behar, chief executive officer of Trax. “His rigor and discipline will play a critical role in taking Trax to the next level. He helped oversee the acquisition of Egencia by American Express Global Travel for nearly $1 billion.  Before joining Expedia Group, Vengalil was head of strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and business operations at LendingClub. Earlier in his career, he led teams advising companies on growth strategy at McKinsey & Company.
